RAP celebrates 100…
In May 1925, the Rochester Alumnae Panhellenic was officially established as an alumnae chapter of the National Panhellenic Conference. Throughout the next century, this group of women, representing 16 of the 26 national sororities, contributed to the community, supported local philanthropies, raised funds for scholarships, and in the past decade alone, has awarded over $100,000 to local collegiate women.
On Saturday, November 1st, in celebration of RAP’s centennial milestone, Rochester Mayor Malik Evans officially proclaimed November 1st as a commemorative day in RAP’s honor. We are deeply grateful for his recognition and his presence at our celebration and fundraising event supporting our scholars.
